A major new healthcare sports event seeks support for its first sporting gala launching 10th September 2008
A highly prestigious sporting event, ultimately comprising four sports - sailing, cycling, swimming and running. Designed to be glamorous and exciting, the event is set to raise money for health-related charities. Entries will be welcomed from all those working in healthcare related disciplines, from dedicated sportsmen and women to enthusiastic novices
Our aims:
To create an event which enables those working in health-related disciplines to raise money for healthcare charities by participating in a sporting event which is both prestigious and fun.
- To provide a first-class opportunity for individuals working in public and private healthcare sectors to take part in a high profile sports event creating unprecedented opportunities to network
- To raise the profile of sport as a vital force for good in health maintenance
- To promote team spirit and deliver a fun day out in the wonderful New Forest and Solent areas.
Entry requirements:
Anyone who enjoys sport can enter - and use the event to raise money.
- Team members should consist predominantly of people working in healthcare or healthcare related disciplines
- Team size is flexible. Participants can enter the land based events, the sailing event or ideally submit entries for both
- Teams should commit to raising money for their chosen health-related charity.
